Sierra County Cancer Assistance (SCCA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring that no Sierra County resident faces cancer treatment alone. Since 2009, SCCA has provided free transportation to medical appointments in Las Cruces and Albuquerque through a compassionate network of volunteer drivers. Powered entirely by volunteers and community support, the organization helps ease the financial and emotional burden of cancer by offering reliable transportation, encouragement, and care. Guided by its mission to Care, Share, and Give Back, SCCA continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of local cancer patients and their families.
